Gauge: 28 Sts and 28 Rows = 4" square in stranded Stockinette stitch, lightly blocked.

Mitten is worked in the round from the cuff to the tips of the fingers. While the body of the mitten is made, a thumb gusset is formed. The thumb is worked after the completion of the body of the mitten. Left and right mittens are virtually identical with the exception of one round.
