You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Please note: the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer if the return is not a result of an error or damage by Harrisville Designs. When a return/exchange is received, the customer will be refunded for the cost of the product only, but not the original cost of shipping. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), Harrisville Designs will pay for return shipping and will take responsibility for all previous charges.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Please note that all shipping estimates are from the date of shipment. You will receive an email notification from us when your order has shipped. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email from us within 1-3 business days of placing your order, try checking your Junk folder, as they are sometimes filtered into Spam.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Please note that we are NOT responsible for additional charges imposed by the receiving country, such as duties, VAT or customs clearance fees. These are decided by the recipient's country and are unfortunately out of our hands. If you are concerned about possible fees, please check with your local postal service prior to ordering.
*Our FREE SHIPPING offer for orders over $100 is for web orders only. This offer excludes addresses outside the contiguous US. We wish we could include them, but unfortunately it's just not possible at this time.
When you place an order, your shipping and delivery dates with be estimated by an automatic postal service applications based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
