DESIGNER: Sarah Solomon

KENNAWAY is a unisex set-in sleeve pullover knit worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The three-dimensional quality of the Shear Merino-Dorset Aran gives this sweater a powerfully structured appearance but the softness of the yarn and the relatively open gauge makes a for a very comfortable sweater. The silhouette is based on traditional men’s pullovers, but is suitable for a range of body types and is intended as a relaxed layering piece. Choose your size based on the finished chest measurement and the recommended ease. The cable patterns are simple and easy to memorize, and carefully-planned selvedge stitches simplify sewing the sweater together. Options are included for a single-layer ribbed collar or a plush doubled collar as shown in the sample. This pattern is approachable for those who are new to cables and working sweaters in pieces.

NOTE: This piece is worked from the bottom-up.
