notes
a. This shawl is knit flat, with intarsia separating the spine of the shawl to either side.

b. For ease of wearing around the neck, the cast-on of the shawl has a longer top width than a typical triangle shawl. Please refer to the finished measurements before casting-on.

c. The “dots” in this shawl are created by working alternating slipped sts, rather than carrying two colorways, like in stranded colorwork.
d. The shawl sides have an i-cord selvedge for a sturdy edge.

e. The cast-on and bind-off use both CC1 and CC2 held together, at the same time.

f. In the set-up row for the shawl, the point at which CC1 and CC2 are interlocked in intarsia is noted, and continued throughout the shawl.

g. This shawl is increased at the center spine and either sides on each right-side row, aside from the dot rows.

h. We recommend using blocking wires and wet-blocking this shawl.
