Adjustment chains allow you to adjust the height of each harness and thereby adjust your overall shed height. They also allow you ensure that all your harnesses are level with one another. Adjustment chains are designed to hang between each harness cable and lamm cable (or treadle tie-up cords on direct tie-up looms) via s-hooks.
