Coombe Aran is a top-down raglan sweater with a timeless texture. Follow the ease guidelines to get either a relaxed classic fit or a more contemporary oversized fit and choose from two styles of sleeves to make it your own: a graceful balloon sleeve with slightly gathered cuff, or a traditional tapered sleeve. Instructions are given to help you match our sample but because this sweater is knit top-down, body and sleeve lengths are fully adjustable and even the collar can be customized to suit you exactly.

For Balloon sleeve:
4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8) skeins or 768 (863, 969, 1028, 1161, 1250, 1405, 1533, 1637) yards of Aran weight yarn
For Tapered sleeve:
4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins or 725 (818, 906, 965, 1094, 1183, 1320, 1442, 1546) yards of Aran weight yarn
NEEDLES
- Main Fabric Needle Needle: US 9 (5.50 mm): 16"and 32" / circular, and dpns, if preferred for small circumference knitting.
- Ribbing Needle: US 7 (3.75 mm): 16" / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm circular, and DPNs, if preferred for small circumference knitting.
GAUGE
- Blocked Gauge 14 sts and 24 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Circular Double Garter Rib on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Please note: the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer if the return is not a result of an error or damage by Harrisville Designs. When a return/exchange is received, the customer will be refunded for the cost of the product only, but not the original cost of shipping. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), Harrisville Designs will pay for return shipping and will take responsibility for all previous charges (contact us prior to shipping a return to receive return authorization).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (5 to 7 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Workshop and Classes Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Please note our 2024 cancellation and refund policy includes a non-refundable $100.00 registration fee per workshop. In the case must withdraw, you have 8 weeks prior to class for a full tuition refund, less the registration fee. After this date all payments are non-refundable, no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
