Ainsworth is an oversized drop shoulder pullover with a saddle. The sweater is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The silhouette is based on traditional Aran pullovers and is suitable for a range of body types. Choose your size based on the finished chest measurement and the recommended ease. The cable patterns are simple and easy to memorize, and carefully-planned selvedge stitches simplify sewing the sweater together. A V-neck and patterned saddle add subtle detail to the design, and the double collar provides an elegant finish.

• Main Fabric Needle: US 6 (4.0 mm): 32" circular
• Ribbing Needle: US 5 (3.75 mm): 16" and 32" circular

Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge

GAUGE

• 26.6 sts and 32 rows = 4" / 10 cm in charted cable pattern on larger needle, after wet-blocking
• 33 sts and 32 rows = 4" / 10 cm in honeycomb stitch on larger needle, after wet-blocking
• 20 sts and 32 rows = 4" / 10 cm in moss stitch on larger needle, after wet-blocking
• 25-st shoulder panel = 3¾"/ 9 cm
