Punch Needle Kit by Arounna Khounnoraj: Flower Design
Punch needle is a textile technique similar to rug hooking that creates a highly textured tapestry surface made of loops. Our new kit, designed in collaboration with bookhou studio’s Arounna Khounnoraj, comes in two patterns (see the leaf design here) and contains all of the tools and materials you need to create a unique wall hanging. Once you find the right rhythm, you’ll discover that punch needle allows you to fill a large area quickly. Regardless of your experience level, these kits are a fun, rewarding way to “draw” with yarn.
Each Punch Needle Kit Contains
- An Oxford punch-needle tool with maple handle ergonomically designed for comfort and speed by punch-needle expert Amy Oxford
- 5 balls of Harrisville Designs’ TURBINE yarn
- Flower or leaf template
- Monk’s cloth
- An 8x10 inch frame that holds the monk’s cloth in place
