Job Brief 

Harrisville Designs is a family business, founded in 1971. Today we produce locally spun yarn, beautifully carded fleece, handmade floor looms, and the award-winning Friendly Loom™ product line for kids and beginner crafters.

We are looking for someone to join our Skein Finishing & Labeling team. If you are an early-bird and would like a four-day work week, this schedule may appeal to you. Accuracy, quality control, team player, and working efficiently are all skill sets needed for this job. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.

Job Duties will include:

Working in a small team; washing, twisting, labeling and boxing up skeined yarn. Conscientious about quality and being efficient.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing and repetitive motions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
