$260.

Lorna McMaster author, of Woolworks! is giving a 3 day intensive
workshop on teaching fiber arts while still meeting state and national
standards across all content areas. Discover how to use spinning,
weaving, knitting, braiding, dyeing, and felting as tools for
introducing math, history, science and literature to students grades
K-8. You will also become acquainted with research supporting the
critical role handcrafts can play in developing brains of children in
both regular and special needs classrooms.

Ms McMaster has a Master’s Degree in gifted and talented education and
over 20 years experience teaching in public schools. She has written
four curriculum guides for teachers including her latest collaborative
work with Harrisville Designs, Wool Works!
