  1. Better than the old days!

Posted by Ro on 24th May 2016

I found my old kid-sized loom and with it was a bag of loops from perhaps 20 years ago. They were Harrisville! But the new loops are much better quality. I now have the Pro loom, too, and lots of loops, matching them up with dishcloths I knit from Lily Sugar and Cream. My friends love the sets as gifts and they are such fun to design and make. Thank you, Harrisville, for reconnecting me with a fun craft I did 60 years ago, with better materials!

  2. Happy to have found you. Love doing potholders like when I was a kid.

Very happy wirh ordering and delivery and quality of product. Only complaint is that I contacted customer service for a specific color of loops. Was told plum was brighter and I wanted the lighter color (I believe plum) but recceived the dark, packing slip says purple..

  3. colors galore!

I recently hosted my new daughter in laws bridal shower and each guest got a potholder handcrafted by me! The weave and colors really signify the blending of two families into a strong fabric that can withstand the test of time.

  4. Best potholder loops available

After having purchased loops at craft stores, then ordering loops from Harrisville Designs, I am amazed at the quality of Harrisville Designs' loops. Colors available are fabulous! It's fun to get back into a craft that I haven't done in almost 60 years!

When I have long loops because I an reusing them or they were woven loose. I throw them a mesh bag, then wash them in hot water and dry them with the towels. They then fit nicely or the loam,

The loops work as advertised. Some are slightly frayed but still function to make potholders! The finished product makes great gifts! Just wish you could buy black and white loops in bulk bags!

  7. Best cotton Loops ever

Posted by Kathi on 3rd Feb 2016

These cotton loops make the best quality potholders. I recently sent several I made to my Aunts that are in there 80's. They were thrilled. They haven't seen this quality of potholders in years. They could not believe that I found real cotton loops. My Grandma used to make them 60 years ago. Now that she is gone, I'm glad I found Harrisville. Thank You, Happy!

  8. from a prolific purchaser!

Posted by Joanie on 7th Jan 2016

Traditional "Plum" loops tend to be longer than others and thus bulk up in the finished piece. "Pastel Color Line" tend to run short and make the finished piece tighter and less flexible and soft. Yet, I still give 5 stars because where else can you find individual cotton colors? Service and product are overall, great! Thank you, Harrisville...

  9. perfect loops

I love 'em because they are all the right size and weight and fit the loom. Every loop gets used. The colors are great.

  10. Soft & beautiful.

Great loops and colors. These aren't the loops I used as a kid.
