Jared Flood

October 13th
Seamless Sweater Workshop, 9 am to 4 pm
This course will cover the foundations of seamless sweater knitting:
construction, percentages, techniques, and yoke variations. We will
be exploring some of Elizabeth Zimmermann’s sweater models and
discussing her percentage system (EPS). The goal of this course is
to familiarize knitters with the seamless method of sweater
construction and design, and give them the confidence to formulate
original garments, without a pattern, to suit their own tastes – or
alter existing patterns into seamless ones.
Experience: Students should know how to knit, purl and work in the round.
